Bosnia's Presidency members Alija Izetbegovic, Momcilo
Krajisnik and Mariofil Ljubic, who attended today's session instead
of the non-attendant Croat Presidency member Kresimir Zubak,
confirmed a protocol on the functioning of the Council of
Ministers, already signed by Haris Silajdzic and Boro Bosic,
candidates for the Council's co-chairmen.
According to the document, which was distributed to reporters,
agreement had been reached on the application of a model which is
also to be applied in case of Presidency sessions.
In a transitional period of six months, two sessions of the
Council of Ministers will be held in the building of the National
Museum in Sarajevo, while the third one will be held at the Faculty
of Electro-Technical Engineering in Lukavica.
The first session of the Council is to take place on 4 January
and it will be held in Lukavica under the chairmanship of Boro
Bosic.
The Council co-chairmen would work together, call sessions
alternately and establish session agendas until a law and a book of
rules of the Council of Ministers are adopted.
Similar agreement had been reached on the work of the state
parliament. Sessions of one of the two houses will be held in
Sarajevo, while those of the other house will be held in Lukavica.
Presidency members and nominated co-chairmen of the Council of
Ministers on Monday confirmed the names of candidates for the posts
of vice president and ministers and their deputies.
Neven Tomic will be the Council of Ministers' vice president,
while Hasan Muratovic will hold the post of Foreign Trade and
Economy Minister.
Jadranko Prlic is to hold the post of Foreign Minister and
Spasoje Albijanic is to head the Ministry of Civil Affairs and
