The Neretva Canton Assembly was expected to discuss the Bill
and adopt it on Monday, Steiner said, adding that the other two
cantons should do the same by 31 January.
After the adoption of the law, the international police would
take measures of establishing new canton police forces.
This would primarily contribute to the establishing of a
greater degree of safety and respect of human rights, Steiner said.
The set-up of troops in all police stations in the Bosnian
Federation will be established on par with the national structure
of residents in the area, but all the police in the Federation will
be connected to the same command system.
