ZAGREB, Dec 4 (Hina) - Croatian Finance Minister Bozo Prka told a
session of the House of Representatives on Wednesday that the
Government fully accepts the findings of the State Audit Office.
"It's clear that there have been mistakes, but it's evident
that the management of state property and state expenditure is
increasingly improving," Prka said.
Prka said that the Decree on Procurement and the introduction
of the State Treasury had played an important part in the control
of state expenditures.
Labour and Social Welfare Minister Joso Skara said that he had
dismissed top officials at some funds and institutes after a report
by the State Audit Office and a discussion on this matter in
Parliament.
