In the last two and a half months, thirty Muslim families were
expelled from their homes in the village of Dubrave near Bosanska
Gradiska. Two Muslim families were expelled in the past three days.
Another ten families from the same village told U.N.
representatives they were planning to leave their homes, adding
they had not even been guaranteed minimal security.
The Muslims are being expelled from their homes by Serb
refugees from Donji Vakuf, on the territory of the Croat-Muslim
Federation. Local authorities are doing nothing to prevent the
expulsions.
We think that it is disgusting that a year after the signing
of the Dayton agreement members of minority ethnic groups are being
expelled from their homes in Republika Srpska and we have demanded
again that it be stopped, Ivanko said.
