The Croatian delegation is headed by the Croatian Democratic
Union (HDZ) Public Relations Secretary, Tomislav Krusic, who spoke
at the Conference's session on Saturday.
Speaking about the development of foundations in Croatia,
Krusic stressed that the law on non-governmental procedures was in
Parliament procedure.
Krusic also spoke about the development of local self-
government and about the high degree of rights of minorities in
Croatia.
All participants advocated the development of democratic
freedom in former communist countries in central Europe. It was
agreed that such conferences would take place in Hungary, Slovenia,
Croatia, Austria and Germany every year.
The Croatian delegation also held talks with officials of the
Hungarian Democratic Forum, which is one of the organizers of the
conference, tackling the possibility of Croatia hosting the
conference next year.
