SARAJEVO, Nov 9 (Hina) - International Police high-ranking
officials and special police commanders in Bosnia-Herzegovina's
southern town of Mostar, on Friday agreed on the withdrawal of the
special police from the town.
Commanders of the special police consented to withdraw their
forces from Mostar by 08:00 November 12, a deadline determined by
the International Police commissioner Peter Fitzgerald," said a
spokesman for the U.N., Alexander Ivanko, in Sarajevo on Saturday.
Fitzgerald and the IFOR ground troops' commander Michael
Walker, on Saturday discussed concrete measures for implementation
of the Friday's agreement.
