PULA, Nov 7 (Hina) - A tanker of the Pula-based shipyard "Uljanik"
was on Thursday consigned to the Russian "Novoship" company.
Director of the "Uljanik" Rudjer Batelic and the technical
manager of "Novoship", Leonid Krishtin, signed a contract on the
handover and acceptance of the tanker in Pula on Thursday, in the
presence of the Russian Ambassador to Croatia, Leonid
Kerestedziyantz, an advisor for ship-building at the Croatian
Economy Ministry, Milan Cuvalo and the Istrian County prefect,
Luciano Delbianco.
With Thursday's handover of the oil tanker, the "Uljanik"
shipyard completed the Russian order for the construction of three
ships.
The "Troitsk" ship's capacity is 40,000 tons, it is 181 metres
long and can reach a speed of 15 knots.
