OSIJEK, Oct 30 (Hina) - The UN Transitional Administration in
eastern Croatia has failed to draw up a final list of towns and
villages in the Danube river area where Croatian refugees would be
allowed to visit cemeteries on All Saints' Day on November 1, the
exiled mayor of Beli Manastir Marko Kvesic said at a meeting of
refugees in Osijek on Wednesday.
The list was to have been presented by UNTAES officials at
13.00 hours on Tuesday, Kvesic said, adding that the head of the
Croatian government office for the area was meeting UN Transitional
Administrator Jacques Klein and local Serb authorities in Vukovar
in the afternoon to discuss the matter.
