Baranja County signed an agreement on cooperation and friendship in

Present at the ceremony were the Osijek County deputy Prefect
Marko Barisin, deputy president of the Baranja County assembly
Hargitai Janos and heads of the border counties from both
countries.
Chief of Harkany Bedi Istvan said at the ceremony that the two
countries had common aims whose realization could contribute to a
speedier development of the regions.
Barisin expressed satisfaction with the signing of the
agreement and added that the Knezevo-Udvar border crossing had
already been opened and that plans for the construction of a bridge
on the Drava river near Belisce were in the process of being
drafted.
