ANTALYA, Oct 11 (Hina) - A two-day conference on security and
cooperation in Europe, organized by Turkey's Atlantic Council,
began in the Turkish tourist resort of Antalya on Friday.
The meeting, which brings together NATO and defence officials
and representatives of the foreign ministries of European
countries, will focus on new forms of security systems in Europe.
Speaking of the situation in Bosnia-Herzegovina, adviser to
the Turkish president Nezihi Cakar said in his opening remarks that
it was very important to strengthen the Bosnian Moslem-Croat
Federation.
The meeting was also addressed by the speaker of the Croatian
Parliament's upper house, Katica Ivanisevic. The Croatian
delegation includes Assistant Foreign Minister Hido Biscevic.
