SARAJEVO, Sept 24 (Hina) - IFOR commanders Generals Jean Heinrich
and Michael Walker and international representative for the
implementation of the peace agreement Carl Bildt on Tuesday asked
Bosnian Premier Hasan Muratovic to take measures to prevent
incidents during the return of refugees into abandoned villages
within the zone of separation on the border between the Bosnian
Federation and the Serb entity. #L#
Refugees had the right to return, but not carrying weapons in
villages in the zone of separation (two kilometres inside both
entities) because this would mean a violation of the Dayton
agreement, Bildt's Office spokesman Michael McLay told a news
conference.
The warning was issued after a tense situation created by a
group of about 100 armed Moslems who had entered the village of
Jusici in eastern Bosnia.
A special task force which was established in June, was to
draft plans of a safe and gradual return of refugees, but the job
has not been finished till today, due to obstructions by the Serb
side.
