The Mahala village was settled exclusively by Moslems before
the war, but it was integrated into the Serb entity under the
Dayton Agreement.
Last week Moslems began returning to this village and
reconstructing their homes.
This was the gravest incident after truce had been called,
Ivanko said, adding that the fact that members of the international
police had had to wear bullet-proof vests indicated the violence of
the conflict.
