ZAGREB, Sept 19 (Hina) - Croatian Army Chief-of-Staff General
Zvonimir Cervenko on Thursday held talks with the Jordanian army
Chief-of-Staff Abdul Hafiz Mari Kalabneh who visited the Jordanian
UNTAES battalion deployed in eastern Slavonia.
"I can say that the Jordanian battalion has fulfilled its
tasks in western and eastern Slavonia highly professionally and
with military correctness," Cervenko told reporters after the
talks.
He thanked Kalabneh for the successfully fulfilled task first
as UNPROFOR troops, then as UNCRO and now as UNTAES.
He added that he expected the future establishment of
cooperation between the Croatian and Jordanian armed forces in
other spheres also.
