FINAL PRELIMINARY RESULTS OF ELECTIONS FOR BOSNIAN PRESIDENCY

SARAJEVO, Sept 22 (Hina) - The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) mission on Sunday released final preliminary results of elections for the three-man Presidency of Bosnia-Herzegovina. The returns showed that Alija Izetbegovic, a Moslem, won 731,024 out of 913,411 votes or 80 percent; Momcilo Krajisnik, a Serb, won 690,130 out 1,024,100 votes or 67.3 percent; and Kresimir Zubak, a Croat, won 329,891 out of 371,832 votes or 88.7 percent. The results are expected to be officially confirmed next week by the Provisional Election Commission and announced by OSCE Chairman Flavio Cotti. (hina) vm 221938 MET sep 96
