SARAJEVO, 5 Sept (Hina) - The Party of Democratic Action (SDA) on
Thursday asked from the Provisional Election Commission to allow
all refugees, who had not been able to take part in the elections
abroad, on 3 September, to vote on 14 September. #L#
Due to some difficulties which occurred during the elections,
some 270,000 refugees, mainly Bosniacs, did not get a chance to
vote, head of the SDA Central Committee Halid Genjac told a press
conference in Sarajevo Thursday. Whether the SDA would take part in
the elections depended upon the fulfillment of the party's request,
Genjac said, adding the party had proposed that the elections be
extended by two days, until 16 September. That would allow those
refugees who had not voted abroad to vote in Bosnia-Herzegovina, he
added.
