If there were more incidents in the future, they would be
answered, he said, adding that some 90 west European police
officers were deployed in Mostar at the moment.
Warning that the safety situation in Mostar had worsened in
the last two weeks, Foks said that two men from the west bank of
the Neretva river had fired four shots from a pistol towards a
group of children on the east bank of the river when a boy was
lightly wounded on Saturday.
He added that he did not expect riots in Mostar because
Herzeg-Bosnia had been abolished.
