signed work contracts with the Croatian Oil Industry (INA) and are to start working on the Djeletovci oil fields with other experts tomorrow.
DJELETOVCI, 20 Aug (Hina) - Twenty-five Serbs from the area under
the U.N. transitional administration (UNTAES), who had been working
with the former NIK (Oil Industry of Krajina) in Djeletovci in the
past five years, on Tuesday signed work contracts with the Croatian
Oil Industry (INA) and are to start working on the Djeletovci oil
fields with other experts tomorrow. #L#
It is expected that in the next ten to 15 days another 67
workers of the former NIK will become INA's employees. All of them
are required to bring Croatian identification papers within three
months.
The extraction of oil from the Djeletovci fields will start on
22 August and the oil will be transported to the Sisak Refinery.
