He also confirmed that he had given out an order for the exile
of civilians during the Croatian military operation "Storm" and
that the commander of rebel Serb military forces Mile Mrksic had
known for the operation "Storm" but that he had not informed Martic
of it.
Martic, who is now living in Banja Luka (Serb entity in
Bosnia), said that he would not go to Serbia as long as "traitor
Milosevic is in power".
"Milosevic betrayed us and I believed that he was a god who
would save the Serb people," Martic said, recalling his first
meeting with Milosevic in 1991.
Martic also said that a joint plan on defense among his former
para-state, Republika Srpska and Yugoslavia had existed, which had
been signed by Milosevic, but that Milosevic had revoked the plan
during the Croatian military operation "Flash".
