campaign.

The Sarajevo television on Saturday cited a statement from the
party's spokesman Mustafa Mujagic, saying that a group of people
who had carried photographs of Alija Izetbegovic and posters with
the sign of the Social Democratic Action (SDA), had surrounded a
line of vehicles with Silajdzic in one of the vehicles.
Shouting, they attempted to overturn the vehicles and began a
fight in which Silajdzic was hit on the head with a steel pipe.
The attack took place after Silajdzic had been prevented from
opening a factory of medical equipment in Cazin by a group of
people, the statement said.
During the incident, not one police officer was on the scene,
although the Interior Ministry of the Bosnian Federation had
publicly taken on the duty of protecting all parties and their
candidates, the statement said.
According do a doctor in a health clinic in Cazin, Silajdzic
had not been seriously injured.
