ZAGREB, June 14 (Hina) - The ninth session of the Croatian Parliament House of Representatives which lasted two weeks, on Friday ended with votes on a dozen discussed items of the agenda. The Lower House unanimously supported a Bill
on Mass Media and a Report on the functioning of the legal state in the fight against all types of crime, with a special regard of the situation in economy and the judiciary. The lower house refused to give a vote of no confidence to the Administration minister Davorin Mlakar.
ZAGREB, June 14 (Hina) - The ninth session of the Croatian
Parliament House of Representatives which lasted two weeks, on
Friday ended with votes on a dozen discussed items of the agenda.
The Lower House unanimously supported a Bill on Mass Media and
a Report on the functioning of the legal state in the fight against
all types of crime, with a special regard of the situation in
economy and the judiciary.
The lower house refused to give a vote of no confidence to the
Administration minister Davorin Mlakar. #L#
Besides the Report on the functioning of the legal state,
accepted was also a resolution which recommends that the government
prepare and submit to the Parliament as soon as possible a
suggestion of a financial penal code, as well as amendments to
other laws necessary for an effective fight against all types of
crime in Croatia.
The representatives did not support suggestions that they
submit reports of their income scale by mid-July, as well as the
income scale of their closest family members, for the period from
the establishment of Croatia's independence till July 1996.
The Lower House supported amendments to the Law on the basics
of the foreign exchange system.
