SARAJEVO, June 8 (Hina) - President of the Presidency of Bosnia- Herzegovina on Saturday said he did not believe that his country would be broken up into three parts, stressing that the fight for an intact Bosnia would continue.
"There are forces which have aimed to break up this country by means of weapons and politics for four years now. We do not believe that this is possible to achieve, and that is why we object to holding the elections at any cost," Izetbegovic told reporters after talks with Portuguese President Jorge Sampai which took place in Sarajevo.

Izetbegovic stressed that he had informed Sampai that, at the
moment, conditions for holding free and democratic elections did
not exist in Bosnia.
Sampai, who arrived in Bosnia to visit Portuguese IFOR
soldiers, stressed it was necessary to continue the political
process, which should lead to strengthening the peace.
He added he hoped that all steps would be taken to arrive at a
final solution and create conditions for permanent peace in Bosnia-
Herzegovina.
