The money will be used for the purchase of machines for
agriculture, livestock, seeds and sprouts.
Most part of the money - US$ 300,000 is to be used this month,
while the rest of the money is to be invested by the end of the
summer.
Everything necessary for the reconstruction of agriculture in
the area would be produced by domestic manufacturers according to
results of an open competition, and every returnee would be
included in the Agreement, Zoric said.
Jambor said that this was just a part of US$ 30 million of
assistance which would be donated for care for refugees and
displaced persons in Croatia this year.
UNHCH has already signed an Agreement of US$ 8 million with
the Office for Refugees and Displaced Persons for care for refugees
in Croatia, and nine million dollars will be spent for programmes
of return to the still occupied areas in eastern Croatia.
