The process of closing down the camp began by transporting
some 1,200 refugees to Velika Kladusa and Cazin.
The camp is expected to be completely deserted within the next
ten days. Around 700 refugees will travel to third countries after
they have been interviewed and issued with documents.
Officials in the Vojnici municipality in the Sisak County said
that the closing of the camp would open the Vojnici-Velika Kladusa
road, the shortest road connecting Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
