Members of the sub-commission were accompanied by UNTAES
troops and police. A member, Tomo Povreslo, said that Lastovo and
Antunovac were very damaged and Ernestinovo was slightly less
damaged.
"Upon our return we passed through Korod, Silas and Celije.
Lastovo and Celije are virtually invisible from weeds and
destruction," Povreslo said.
The sub-commission was established within the Committee for
refugee issues of the Croatian government Office of the temporary
administration for the establishment of Croatian authority in
eastern Slavonia, Baranja and western Srijem.
