There are between 1,500 and 2,000 Bosniacs-Muslims left in the
area. Their expulsion would deepen the crisis of the peace process,
IFOR representatives said.
'The unacceptable act of ethnic cleansing was renewed, which
represents additional evidence that the 'Republika Srpska'
authorities are acting unfriendly toward any attempt aimed at
building mutual trust and maintenance of multiethnic society',
UNHCR spokesman in Sarajevo, Chris Janowski, said on Monday.
Another worrying fact was that Croats and Muslims were being
prevented from visiting their homes in the areas they had lived
before the war, the UNHCR representative said.
