OSIJEK, 28 May (Hina) - The Osijek Society of Families of Missing
and Imprisoned Croatian Defenders on Tuesday sent a letter to the
U.N. Transitional Administrator of Eastern Slavonia, Baranja and
Western Srijem, General Jacques Klein, asking that an office for
the search for abducted, missing and imprisoned persons be opened
in Vukovar. #L#
The Society also asked for full respect for a protocol signed
by the Croatian and Yugoslav foreign ministers, Mate Granic and
Milan Milutinovic, which envisages the release of all prisoners,
regardless of the grounds they had been accused or imprisoned on.
'Your recent work deserves our commendation', the letter also
said.
