ZAGREB, May 27 (Hina) - The Croatian Government's Office for
Refugees and Displaced Persons and the International Federation
of the Red Cross and the Red Crescent on Monday signed an
agreement on reconstruction of a building in Stara Mokosica near
Dubrovnik for accommodation of elderly refugees and displaced
persons.
Under the agreement, the Red Cross Federation will earmark
DM 440,000 from Italian government donations to reconstruct the
"Termoterapija" building. Repair work on the building, which will
accommodate about 50 elderly refugees, is expected to be
completed at the beginning of Septermber.
The agreement was signed by the head of the Office for
Refugees and Displaced Persons, Damir Zoric, and the head of the
Red Cross and Red Crescent mission to Croatia, Sten Swedlund.
