MOSTAR, May 15 (Hina) - The European Union administrator of Mostar,
Ricardo Perez Casado, on Wednesday received Mostar's Croat and
Moslem mayors, Mijo Brajkovic and Safet Orucevic, for talks on
local elections scheduled for May 31.
"The Croat side handed in lists of candidates in time and
will participate in the elections," Brajkovic told reporters after
the meeting, adding that the EU had backed Casado's proposal for
the elections to take place on May 31.
The chairman of the interim electoral commission for Bosnia-
Herzegovina, Robert Frowick, would arrive in Mostar later on
Wednesday to discuss the issue with Casado, Brajkovic said.
