75th anniversary of the Croatian Catholic Society in the United
States and Canada, held in Chicago, thus ending his visit to Croat

Cardinal Kuharic attended a mass in the Croatian church Sacred
Heart of Jesus in Chicago. After the mass he joined numerous Croats
in the celebration.
During his ten-day visit to North America, Kuharic visited
Croat Catholics in Toronto and southern Ontario and also attended
several charity meetings which raised funds for Croatian Caritas.
Kuharic was accompanied by the head of the Croatian Caritas
and head of the international body of believers, Monsignor Vladimir
Stankovic.
