ZAGREB, April 25 (Hina) - The Croatian government on Thursday
suggested to the Croatian President to revoke some decrees which he
had issued on the basis of his constitutional authority. #L#
Under the Constitution, the President has authority to issue
decrees with the power of acts in cases of war, of direct danger to
Croatia and if government authority bodies are made incapable of
fulfilling their constitutional duties.
The President thus issued nine decrees. As conditions have
improved so as to it make possible for some of the decrees to be
revoked, the government suggested the President do so.
