The main ICTY prosecutor Richard Goldstone publicized the
indictment of Rajic on 29 August, 1995. The indictment was
confirmed by a Pakistani judge Rustam Sidhwa.
Rajic was charged with severe cases of violation of the Geneva
Conventions as well as with violation of law of war and war
customs.
According to the indictment, Bosnian Croat forces under
Rajic's command had attacked and razed the village of Stupni Do,
Vares municipality, 50 km north of Sarajevo. At least 16 Muslim
civilians were killed in the attack and the survivors were forced
to flee.
In case the court of first instance, chaired by a U.S. judge
Gabrielle Kirk Mc Donald, confirm the indictment, an international
warrant will be issued for Rajic's arrest.
