VITEZ, March 27 (Hina) - The president of the Croatian Democratic
Union (HDZ) of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bozo Rajic, and the vice
president of the Democratic Action Party (SDA), Edhem Bicakcic, met
for talks Wednesday in Vitez (central Bosnia).
"The focus of the talks was the establishment of cantonal
councils within the set time limits," Rajic said after talks.
The talks tackled the basic issues of canton officials,
especially cantons with special regime, the Central Bosnian Canton
and the Neretva Canton, Rajic said. #L#
"Our attitude was that the national structure of cantonal
officials in both cantons should be balanced. We also asked that
the SDA accept that a Croat take on the post of head of the Bugojno
municipality. I cannot say that we have reached an agreement.
However, both sides will discuss these issues again as well as
issues concerning the Rome agreement. I am convinced that all
disputable questions will be resolved after all," Rajic said.
