"At the moment we are trying to find out as many details
possible and we are waiting for directions from relevant
ministries. However, we are starting to fulfill our duties, and the
first is to remove all checkpoints inside the Federation. They
should be removed today. If we can accomplish this, we continue
tomorrow," the director of the Federal customs, Drago Bagaric, said
after a board meeting in Mostar which focused on duties in line
with the new agreement.
A transitional period would be necessary for the customs to
begin functioning in line with regulations which had been accepted
a year and a half ago by the Constitutional Assembly of the
Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bagaric said.
