ZAGREB, March 22 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman on
Friday received the Croatian Minister of Privatization and
Property Management, Ivan Penic, the president of the Swedish
company Yton Holding, Lars Sjoeborg, and the president of the
Croatian Chamber of Commerce, Nadan Vidosevic, the Presidential
Office said in a statement. Tudjman congratulated Sjoeborg
on his courage and faith in Croatia when, at the time of Serbian
aggression, he had decided to invest in cement industries in Pula
and Split.
Tudjman proposed that Sjoeborg and his partners continue
investing in the Croatian economy, especially in the construction
industry and tourism, which was accepted with pleasure.
Also present at the meeting were Presidential Chief of Staff
Ivo Sanader, Head of the President's Cabinet Gordan Radin,
Dalmacijacement Management Board member Mattias Sjoeborg and Yton
Holding representative for southeastern Europe Jasminko Hodzic,
the statement concluded.
