Voigt informed Simonovic about the work and organisation of
the North Atlantic Assembly which, along with representatives of
NATO member-states, also gathers representatives from Eastern
Europe who are attending its sessions as observers or associate
members.
The North Atlantic Assembly is very successful in organizing
seminars on military issues as seen from the position of the civil
society. Simonovic informed the delegation of the North Atlantic
Assembly about processes going on in this part of South-Eastern
Europe after the signing of the Dayton agreements. He stressed that
Croatia was interested in joining European integration processes
and security systems as soon as possible, especially the program
