ZAGREB, Feb 19 (Hina) - Croatian and Slovene foreign ministry
officials met in Zagreb on Monday to discuss open issues between
the two countries and make preparations for a top-level meeting.
The Croatian delegation was led by Assistant Foreign Minister
Hidajet Biscevic and the Slovene delegation was headed by
Undersecretary of State Draga Bencina.
The issues dicussed included property rights relations, the
status of the jointly owned Krsko nuclear power plant, the division
of the debt to Italy for the nationalized property of people who
left for Italy after the end of World War Two, the debt of
Slovenia's Lubljanska Banka to Croatian citizens, and still
unresolved border issues.
