PLOCE, Feb 11 (Hina) - New troops and equipment arrived Sunday in
the Croatian port of Ploce, as a reinforcement to the Spanish units
deployed with the NATO-led Bosnian peace Implementation Force
(IFOR) in the Sector South-East.
Three vessels with the Spanish Navy Aragon, Herman Cortes and
Martin Posadillo carried around 400 officers and soldiers and 1,752
tonnes of equipment.
The cargo included 32 special vehicles, 13 armored personnel
carriers, a dozen of 105mm and 114mm howitzers, and several heavy
engineering machines.
