PLOCE, Jan 31 (Hina) - Commanders of NATO-led Implementation Force logistical troops in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Croatia, General Bill Farmen and General Dieter Shott, visited the NATO logistics base at Ploce, Croatia, on Wednesday for
the first time.

After touring the base, the IFOR commanders, said to reporters
that the NATO base at Ploce was one of most important bases for the
IFOR logistics.
Gen. Farmen described the cooperation with the Croatian Army
as professional and successful and added that they were cooperating
with Croatian authorities also well.
Asked about problems the IFOR was encountering in Bosnia, he
replied that they had no big problems and said that at the moment
all observed the Dayton accord and deadlines for its
implementation. 'We are satisfied with cooperation of all parties
in Bosnia-Herzegovina," Gen. Farmen said.
Asked whether the IFOR would pay rent for accommodation of the
base at Ploce port, Gen. Farmen answered that IFOR was paying
charges and customs duties and that it had free passage and usage
of airports and seaports.
