OSIJEK, Feb 10 (Hina) - The Osijek Officer Corps commander, Lieutenant General Djuro Decak today met with French Ambassador to Croatia, Jean-Jacques Gaillarde. After the meeting, Ambassador Gaillarde said that during the past two days
he had talked with both Croat and Serb representatives on the implementation of peaceful reintegration. The talks had left a positive impression, Gaillarde added.
OSIJEK, Feb 10 (Hina) - The Osijek Officer Corps commander,
Lieutenant General Djuro Decak today met with French Ambassador to
Croatia, Jean-Jacques Gaillarde. After the meeting, Ambassador
Gaillarde said that during the past two days he had talked with
both Croat and Serb representatives on the implementation of
peaceful reintegration. The talks had left a positive impression,

'I think that possibilities of a successful completion of the
reintegration process are great', Gaillarde said, adding that the
establishment of mutual trust between the two sides was a
precondition for progress and implementation of the peace agreement
'for the benefit of all people in the area'.
Lieutenant General Decak said that the French Ambassador was
interested in Croatia's standpoints as regards the disarmament. The
two officials agreed that it was a very complicated process which
needed to be carried out gradually.
'I think the the French Ambassador is satisfied with Croatian
views as regards the establishment of confidence', Decak said,
adding the Croatian side had secured everything for the start of
the peaceful implementation of its occupied territories.
