It was quiet in western Mostar last night after a curfew had
been imposed, Brajkovic said, adding he had received a number of
phone calls by foreign diplomats who were inquiring about the
situation in the city.
'We try to explain the situation in the city to each of them',
Brajkovic said, reiterating that Mostar was the only larger city in
Bosnia-Herzegovina on which the Croat people could count to be
their centre.
The Mostar Municipal Council today received several dozen
telegrams from Herzeg-Bosnian, Croatian and world officials, who
expressed their support to the Council and its president Mijo
Brajkovic.
