MOSTAR, Jan 29 (Hina) - Chairman of the European Parliament
Delegation for relations with Eastern Europe, Doris Peck, today met
Western Mostar Mayor Mijo Brajkovic. The talks focused on
difficulties in the implementation of the peace agreement insofar
as it deals with Mostar.
Stressing that the European Parliament wished that Mostar
should become a "symbol of the union," Pack said that the
Federation would succeed "if only it succeeded in Mostar."
According to Brajkovic, Peck would talk to the EU
Administrator Hans Koschnick before he pronounced on the
territorial arrangement of Mostar.
Pack also visited the EU police in Mostar. She is scheduled to
meet Eastern Mostar Mayor Safet Orucevic this afternoon.
