SLAVONSKI BROD, Feb 7 (Hina) - Priests from the Bosanska Posavina region, accommodated in Slavonski Brod (eastern Croatia), today sent an appeal to the Catholics from the Bosanska Posavina region not to give up their return to the
areas conquered by the Bosnian Serbs. The priest called on the refugees from Bosanska Posavina not to sell or exchange their houses and to take part in the elections which are to be held under the supervision of IFOR.

region, accommodated in Slavonski Brod (eastern Croatia), today
sent an appeal to the Catholics from the Bosanska Posavina region
not to give up their return to the areas conquered by the Bosnian
Serbs.
The priest called on the refugees from Bosanska Posavina not
to sell or exchange their houses and to take part in the elections

'The return is guaranteed by Dayton documents, NATO, the
Republic of Croatia and the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina. The
return will not be quick, but it is possible', the priests said.
Before the war, the Bosanska Posavina region was inhabited
mainly by Croats and Muslims. The Serbs made only 20% of the
population.
