ZAGREB, Feb 7 (Hina) - It is certain that a great number of people were killed last summer when Serbs overran (supposedly UN-protected safe area) Srebrenica, but the possibility that there are still people who have survived, should
not be excluded, the UN human rights rapporteur, Elizabeth Rehn, said at a press conference in Zagreb on Wednesday.

Asked to comment on a statement by an International Red cross
official who said he was sure that Serbs had killed at least 3,000
people after they had conquered Srebrenica, Rehn said:
"I am sure that a great number of persons were killed, and we
have a considerable number of obvious proofs that there were big
massacres." However, she added, there were no proofs to confirm the
exact number of the killed people.
She told the press conference that a day before her arrival in
the eastern Bosnian town of Srebrenica a yet another site of
massacre had been found out. She described that site where she had
seen bodies of some ten young men, who had worn jeans. She said
many personal documents had been also found.
The UN human rights rapporteur Ms. Rehn has finished her third
tour to the former Yugoslavia when she has visited Macedonia,
Bosnia-Herzegovina and Croatia.
Speaking about her tour to the refugee camp at Kupljensko,
Rehn voiced concern about conditions in which Velika Kladusa
(western Bosnian) refugees were living.
