The enlarged reissue of the book "Contribution of Croatia to
Victory of Anti-Fascist Coalition" was presented at the session.
According to estimates of committee members, the book had
contributed to dismissing misconception, including the
underestimation of Croatia's fight against Fascism.
On behalf of the Croatian President Franjo Tudjman, who had
initiated the establishment of the committee, the President's
envoy, Ivo Sanader, addressed the session and conveyed
congratulations on the work in the former period.
The anniversary reached the culmination with the victory of
Croatia in the Homeland War, in which the overall Croathood
participated, Sanader said.
The committee head, Nedjeljko Mihanovic, the Croatian
Parliament Chairman Vlatko Pavletic and committee members also
spoke about the committee's work.
