VIENNA, Jan 12 (Hina) - The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) parliamentary assembly's permanent committee adopted a resolution on OSCE tasks in the implementation of the Dayton accords. The resolution was
passed in Vienna on Friday.

Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) parliamentary assembly's permanent
committee adopted a resolution on OSCE tasks in the implementation
of the Dayton accords. The resolution was passed in Vienna on

The document particularly confirmed the tasks to organize
elections in Bosnia-Herzegovina, to promote and respect human
rights, and to take measures aimed at building confidence and
security along with conducting negotiations on the arms control.
In the document the OSCE parliamentary assembly's permanent
committee also reiterated that it was necessary to reestablish OSCE
missions in Serbia and Montenegro.
The resolution called on the Croatian Government to enable the
OSCE to form its mission in Croatia in line with the October 1995
conclusions of the OSCE preparatory mission.
The permanent committee adopted today a report of the OSCE
monitoring mission on the Croatian parliamentary elections. The
report was accepted without discussion.
In the report OSCE monitors voiced belief that the elections
had been carried out generally fairly and freely.
