At that occasion Minister Radic conveyed to US President the
best regards from Croatian President Franjo Tudjman and the
gratitude for the US role in achieving peace in Croatia and Bosnia-
Herzegovina.
President Clinton recollected with pleasure his recent visit
to Croatia, and voiced hope that he would soon have a chance for a
longer tour. Clinton promised that his country would fully support
the reintegration of the Croatian Danubian area and the
reconstruction and economic revival of Croatia.
Later on, Croatian Minister met with the acting president of
the US Export-Import Bank, Martin Kamarck. After Radic had informed
him about planned investments in Croatia, Mr. Kamarck said that at
the end of February all formal open questions would be probably
solved about the Export-Import Bank's participation in American
investments in Croatia.
