SPLIT, Feb 1 (Hina) - At the IFOR logistic base at Divulje near Split, on Thursday last honours were done to three Britons who had been killed several days ago in a mine field near Mrkonjic Grad, northwestern Bosnia.

Members of all national troops within IFOR paid last respects
to the deceased 2nd lieutenant Richard Maddew (25), and soldiers
Andrew Ovindgton (25) and John Kelly (21). A delegation of the
Croatian Army was led by the commander of the Divulje air base,
Brigadier Gorki Ticinovic.
After the honours were done, the bodies of the dead British
soldiers were transported to the Resnik airport of Split, from
which they were taken at about 03:00 pm by RAF plane to Great
Britain.
