Speaking about the objective of his tour to Split German
Defence Minister said he wanted to be informed directly about
logistic troops in Croatia, and added that he was very satisfied
with their activities.
"German logistic troops, including engineering units, troops
for organizing transport, and medical corps, are performing
various tasks of exceptional importance. During this visit I have
seen that German troops are cooperating very well with troops
from other countries as well as with Croatian authorities," he
said after the talks at the NATO logistics headquarters.
Asked whether German soldiers would be stationed in Mostar
or anywhere in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Ruehe said they would be only
stationed in Croatia, but they would have to carry out some
logistical duties in Bosnia.

accommodated in Seget Donji and the German-French field hospital
there.
