MOSTAR, Jan 9 (Hina) - Implementation Force (IFOR) troops based
at Divulje near the southern Croatian port of Split will begin
relocating to the Mostar airfield in southern Bosnia-Herzegovina
later this week, an IFOR spokesman said on Tuesday.
Lt. Col. Ramon Alvarez, spokesman for the Spanish IFOR
brigade in Medjugorje, told Hina that the Mostar airfield was
currently repaired for reception of the logistics base in
Divulje.
Alvarez said that no incidents had been recorded overnight
on Mostar's Bulevar street, the former confrontation line
dividing the town into Croat and Moslem sectors.
IFOR armoured vehicles have been patrolling the street for
the fourth day following recent shooting incidents which have
renewed tensions between the town's two communities.
