French troops, as part of NATO-led Implementation Force
(IFOR), removed check-points and sand bags from the bridge in the
last two days. On Thursday civilians began to pass the bridge
without being checked and examined.
According to figures by Sarajevo police, more than 400 persons
passed the bridge in both directions until the dusk today. The
exact number cannot be found out as police has stopped to check
personal papers.
